Bio
Hit maker certified rapper AJ Reynolds is not one to sleep on. As seen on TV on The Four on Fox w/ DJ Khaled, Diddy, Fergie & Meghan Trainor… AJ has proved he is the type of person to bust the door down and not wait the world to find him. 29 years old, Born and Raised in various parts of New Hampshire up in the north east corner of the US.. AJ comes from a place where Hip-Hop and Rap are not frequently stumbled upon in the local music scene.
Around 8 years old, AJ new that he wanted to make music for the rest of his life. His mom would always say to people that he was going to be an entertainer as he would slide a crossed the kitchen floor with some sort of act in hopes to spread a smile of excitement a crossed everyone’s face. Music has always been apart of his life at a young age playing the saxophone and minimal piano experience, but hip hop and rap was inspired by his older brothers CD case full of the original 2000’s classics like Ludacris, Xzibit, Eminem, Dr Dre, & Ice cube.
This led to writing, recording, mixing and mastering in his bedroom from age 13-18 releasing several homemade projects until he decided to go down to the city and work in a real studio. The birth of the hustle.
In late 2014, AJ released his first professionally recorded, mixed and mastered project “Day Dreaming”, a 14 solo track album which led to hit record “Cheeks” which was #8 on the album. While he was chasing his dreams, he also was chasing the money on a 9-5 working on the back of a trash truck. He would write most of his records in the back of his head while a beat played on his cellphone while he would work. Most records like “I Had a Dream”, “Nova” and “Oh no” where written on the back of the truck. One day, on a cold snowy February morning, AJ got a text message from a casting crew in California asking to come out and showcase his talents.
Long story short, AJ premiered his hit single “Cheeks” on live TV in front of DJ Khaled, Diddy, Fergie, Meghan Trainor & the entire world. This led to almost a million organic streams, quitting his 9-5 job at the trash company & pursuing a life of music.
This was the biggest part of AJ Reynolds career because now his head is clear from the rat race, there’s no more check to check and its an actual job to create hits, just the way it was supposed to be, naturally.
